As a member of the 500 HR Club and Baseball Hall of Fame, Willie McCovey is a key component to any high caliber collection. With the growing popularity of bat collecting, prime examples of key bats are becoming near impossible to find.

Measure 35” and weighing 32 ounces, this model 155A bat dates to the 1971-1979 era. Bat exhibits heavy game use (ball, stitch, cleat marks) with light pine tar on the handle. McCovey’s documented “44” appears on the knob. Stretch has signed the bat in black marker.

The bat has been professionally graded and authenticated by MEARS.

Grade (MEARS A9): A base grade of 5 points was assigned for the bat being consistent with length, weight, and model as used by McCovey. 3 points for heavy game use. 1 point for documented uniform number on the knob. (06h0213)
